Signs of arsenal repair can be seen in a few areas. Stock is good with minor dings, scratches and light wear. Metal retains 80% of its original finish with light wear and patina in areas. Sling is a reproduction K98 Mauser sling. Bayonet is serialized, but does not match the gun.

There is a larger crack behind the front band. Argentine Mauser M91 Carbine Bayonet Mounts Bands Only. Stock is solid overall with a few minor cracks and gouges. Numerous acceptance marks accompany this rifle. A nice Chilean crest still present on this gun. Both British and US made ammunition was issued with these rifles. (front rank left and rear rank second left). This rifle was converted to 7.62x51 NATO sometime by the the Chilean government.
